Mr. James is a partner of Jones, Hurley and Hand, P.A. He focuses on handling workers' compensation matters, zealously representing the interests of Employers, Carriers and Self-Insured Employers across the state of Florida. Mr. James is contributing to the firm's increasing presence in South Florida and is managing the firms Miami office.
Although Mr. James was born in the Florida Panhandle, his father's military career allowed him to grow up in Hawaii, North Carolina and Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of West Florida in 1995. After studying for his Masters Degree in Political Science, he later earned his law Degree from Samford University, Cumberland School of law in 2000. He was admitted to the Florida Bar later that same year. After relocating to Central Florida, Mr. James joined the firm in October 2001 and became a partner in 2010.
When not at work, Mr. James enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also regularly participates in several endurance sports across the state raising money for various charitable organizations.
