Ms. Proano is a partner with the firm. She has extensive workers’ compensation experience ranging from general accidents to repetitive injury and first responder cases.   She has defended appeals from the First District Court of Appeals up to the Florida Supreme Court.  Client satisfaction is of utmost importance to her and she works closely with claims departments and employers to ensure their needs are met.

In addition to workers’ compensation matters, Ms. Proano has litigated discrimination and retaliation claims in both State and Federal court and has successfully defended employers’ disciplinary actions at Civil Service Board hearings and arbitrations.  She has also litigated subrogation and personal injury cases.

Ms. Proano received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Florida in 2002.  She then earned her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2006.  She was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.

On a personal note, Ms. Proano enjoys yoga, spinning and learning how to play golf.
